Tell me what you are trying to achieve and what you are currently working with. The more specific you are, the more useful the first conversation will be.
Funding marketing without a clear view of what it returns.
Marketing directors
Needing senior strategic input alongside an existing team.
Businesses spending on paid acquisition
Where efficiency is moving the wrong way and nobody can say why.
Companies with a sales–marketing gap
Where both sides report different numbers about the same pipeline.
What the first conversation covers
Three things: where growth is currently constrained, what your measurement can honestly tell you, and which lever is worth pulling first.
It is a working conversation rather than a pitch. If the answer is that you do not need a consultant, or that the problem is pricing or sales capacity rather than marketing, I will say so.
Probably not a fit if you are looking for content production, social media posting, or a single freelance task. I work on the strategy, acquisition and measurement layer, and there are better and cheaper options for execution-only work.
Useful to include
Not required, but it makes the first call substantially more productive:
What the business sells and who buys it
Which channels are running, and roughly what they cost
Last 30 days of spend and revenue, if you track them
What has been tried and did not work
The specific outcome you want over the next two quarters
